Group-A-Wheels & Circuit Battles!!

Group-A Wheels is proud to announce its official 2011 involvement in the new hit Reality Show, "Circuit Battles", airing on Versus this March. Group-A will entire its own GTO, previously competing in the World-Challenge Series, piloted by Joey Scarallo.
"Circuit Battles" is an exciting heads-up, wheel-to-wheel elimination style road racing will have you on the edge of your seat! 16 teams have been chosen and will compete for $200,000 in prize money!

"Circuit Battles" is the new television show airing on the Versus Network, chronicling the 16 teams of the Pro Track Challenge as they fight their way through the season.

Competitors will race “Heads-Up” in 2 lap, rolling start, wheel-to-wheel Battles, with the winner moving on and collecting the winnings; and the loser loading the car on the trailer. Over the course of an afternoon of racing, 22 separate Battles will play out in exciting “Green-White-Checker” intensity. With a winner being determined every four minutes, the Pro Track Challenge offers rapid fire action full of adrenaline, sure to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Competition day will start with a qualifying session, which will set the 5 lap wheel-to-wheel seeding race. The results of the seeding race will fill the 16 car bracket for the heads-up Battles. In the Championship Bracket, round wins will award each driver $1,000 and the right to move on. The competitors are dueling for a $50,000 Season Championship prize. First round losses drop drivers to the Consolation Bracket, where round wins will award $250. As an added twist, competitors will be given the opportunity to wager their winnings with their next round competitor.

"I am so excited about this oppurtunity to be involved on the ground floor of a show like this. When I look at the success of shows like "Pinks" and other competition reality shows, I think "Circuit Battles" has the ingredients to be one of the top shows of its kind. From a drivers point of view, this is really going to test everyone's ability to maximize the most out of the car, immediately, and on cold tires. Like a switch, you are going to have to be ON IT. The new Scarallo wheels will be available this spring for Modern Muscle cars only. Extreme fitments like the first to be released, Camaro wheels, 20x10-Fronts and 20x11-Rears.
